Anyone following the recent CRTC announcements about new media (broadcast over Internet?)

http://crtc.gc.ca/eng/NEWS/RELEASES/2008/r080515.htm

Some interesting discussion over at http://newmedia.crtc.econsultation.ca/topics/show/2

Still trying to sift through the documents to really find out what the CRTC is after. Would they be so stupid to think they can regulate "the Internet"? Reading the comments, one would think so. Reading the text of the CRTC's statements, though, seems it's limited to so called "professionally produced" Canadian content.
