<div><br></div><div>and i've stuck the library in my /usr/lib/asterisk/modules directory (similar to how i stalled the g729 codec) ... although, asterisk does not recognize the codec shared object.</div><div><br></div>
<div>the device i'm using is a blackberry 9700 (wifi only) with the linphone for blackberry (on the version 5 os - dont laugh ) ... </div><div> </div><div>the registration works fine ... (if i specify the ip address, not the name) .. </div>

</div><div>i do want to be able to interact with the pbx, not just from device to device -- hopefully have the pbx do the codec translation :-) <br></div><div>the signalling does work - if i call my device from another device, it does ring, but cannot setup the media because of the codec missing.</div>
