      half-duplex, that the collisions would increase substantially -
      it's at 0, so I'd think it's ok there.<br>

      Compared to the DSL modem connected to this OpenBSD sparc box, you
      have twice the packets, but 10 times the amount of errors. <br>
      <br>
      smokeping / cacti would help to identify a trend in this in the
      future.<br>
      <br>
      I've found that I've had to reset my dsl modem a few times this
      year - then restart the pppoe session.<br>
